As I discussed last week, I'm looking for ways to make some money from home. Unfortunately, the baking thing seems to have fallen through. I had really wanted to make chocolate-covered Oreo lollipops and sell them, but my materials costs would have been too high compared to what I think I could charge. Plus there's the licensing dilemma. So that idea has been tabled for the time being.
I have, however, been having some success with writing, mostly on Amazon's mTurk. So far I've earned nearly fifty dollars. I guess that doesn't seem like much, but it adds up! It's been a little tricky fitting in time for writing, as it needs to be time when Chickpea's either not here or otherwise occupied. Or asleep. I tried getting up an hour early this morning to write, and managed to bang out an article and make $5, which makes me happy. =)
Plus I felt all virtuous for getting up early and not being my usual lazy self.
My goal is to make $10 a day, five or six days a week. If I can keep getting up early to write, it will be a lot easier to achieve that goal.
